You do not have to be an experienced tour guide to make a good contribution to Radish Ride.

What matters is a combination of communication, reliability, a willingness to learn and a serious attitude towards safety.

You enjoy working with people

Our guests are visiting Japan to have a memorable experience.

A warm welcome, clear explanations and a willingness to help can make their day better.

You should enjoy interacting with people from different cultures and feel comfortable communicating in English.

You are reliable and responsible

Tour operations depend on preparation, timing and teamwork.

We need people who arrive on time, follow procedures, communicate clearly and take their responsibilities seriously.

Driving and leading a group require particular care and attention.

You are happy to get involved

The job may involve preparing vehicles, welcoming guests, assisting with equipment, taking photos or helping with general operations.

You do not need to be an expert at everything, but you should be willing to learn and help with practical tasks.

You have the right driving eligibility

If your role involves driving or leading tours using our vehicles, you must hold a valid licence appropriate for the vehicle and comply with Japanese law.

A foreign licence alone may not be sufficient. We will need to confirm your eligibility before assigning driving duties.

You have a genuine interest in Japan

You do not need to know everything about Japanese history or culture.

Curiosity is enough to start.

We value people who want to learn about the local area, respect the community and help visitors discover Japan in a thoughtful way.

What if you have other skills?

Tell us if you have experience in any of the following:

• Hospitality, tourism or customer service.
• Driving or vehicle operations.
• Photography, video editing or social media.
• Languages or cross-cultural communication.
• Marketing, sales or small-business operations.
