Georgia Pre Registration
If the company is newly organized, its title has to be submitted to the Georgia Corporation Commission for acceptance. On entry, the name of the business, its officers, its business purpose and goals, and its financial condition has to be presented for approval. The Commission will examine whether the business meets all of the requirements needed to establish it as a legal firm in Georgia. The company also has to offer a copy of its complete yearly report and the financial statement. To be given a certificate of registration, the company should also submit two sets of certificates. One is called the"Resident Certificate of Registration", which demonstrates that the business has permanent residency in Georgia. The other set of documents is known as"Commercial Action Certification". It certifies that the company has been conducting a trade or business within the state. Georgia Pre Registration allows a firm to have two cards. One is the Company Identification Card. This card can be used by authorized agents and officials of the company, to display their business cards. Additionally, it acts as proof of identity. Business entities can use this card to record tax returns.
