In accordance with the UK Immigration Law, an applicant must be arriving from a country that is a member of the European Union, either member state or EEC. An individual may also be travelling between countries that are a member states of the European Union, provided that the flights are operated by air. Visas are required for individuals who travel between countries. If travelling between countries, a Cyprus flight pass will be required. There are two main commercial airports in Cyprus: Ovpeyra/TAFE and Nicosia/Cyprus. Another major airport is Nicosia International Airport. It is located approximately 40Km from Athens. From there, flights can be taken from most cities all over the world. Weekdays are the busiest times to land and depart from Nicosia/Cyprus. Larnaca, Paxos and Chios are the other major airports in Cyprus. Cyprus bound flights arrive at different times depending on the airports listed above. Obtaining a Cyprus flight pass entitles an individual to travel throughout the country for vacation or business purposes. Passengers can use their passport to fly domestically and then use it for international flights to Cyprus. Passengers who already have a valid passport will be given a temporary visa upon arrival at the border. The visa is valid for a limited time. After this time, if the individual wishes to renew their visa, they must do so at the same port where they obtained their original visa. Before boarding your flight, ensure that you have brought along your vaccination certificates. These vaccinations will be required to board your flight and complete the check-in procedures for the departure flight. If you fail to bring along a vaccination certificate showing that you've been vaccinated against the diseases mentioned within this schedule, you'll automatically be refused a Cyprus flight pass.
