Remote Year brings together 50-80 inspiring professionals, freelancers, entrepreneurs, and adventurers to see the world as they never have before during an unforgettable year of personal and professional growth. Participants (called “Remotes”) live and work in a different city around the globe each month.

Experience Managers are ultimately responsible for the Remote Year experience in their city. They serve as the face of the program for all groups that come to the city, coordinate programming and on the ground customer support, and assist with logistics. If you are energetic, fun, love interacting with foreigners, have a deep understanding of your city (Kyoto) and country (Japan), and love showing people around, please apply!
