What we do

The five Guillemot brothers, who saw an opportunity in the growing software development business, founded Ubisoft in 1986 to create and distribute video games around the world. At Ubisoft, we create worlds for everyone. We are dedicated to enriching the lives of our players by developing high-quality games that resonate with all kinds of personalities, bring people together, and allow everyone to learn and grow while having fun. We’re a global team of enthusiastic experts committed to delivering memorable gaming experiences. At Ubisoft everyone is invited to combine their talent and imagination with cutting-edge tech to develop tomorrow’s entertainment.

Why we do

At its core, Ubisoft is defined by its people. We welcome talent of all backgrounds and from all over the world to create unforgettable games and bring to life ideas that would otherwise be impossible. Today, Ubisoft’s 45+ studios and more than 21,000 employees make up a diverse global team that helps us bring joy to all types of players from all over the globe. To grant our teams the freedom to create new experiences and bring their diverse perspectives to life, we remain committed to our independence as a game-maker and publisher. Ubisoft’s teams have fought – and won – to preserve this independence so we can chart our own future and uphold our values of creativity and embracing the unexpected. Our teams and stakeholders know that our freedom is paramount to our ongoing success.

How we do

To create a video game, Ubisoft's teams around the world work together to push the boundaries of what’s been done before and build an unforgettable experience for players. The journey from concept to launch requires collaboration, passion and commitment. We learn as we go, trying and failing and trying again before we get it right. That same creativity, growth mindset and dedication form the foundation of our approach to diversity and inclusion. To truly have an impact, we must leverage innovative ideas and diverse perspectives to continue building a company – and an industry – that is welcoming to all. Our vision of diversity and inclusion is multidimensional. That’s why we’ve designed a strategy centered around four pillars: colleagues, culture, content, and community.
