Elevating Studio is looking for a full-stack or backend developer for full-time or part-time contract. The Developer will be part of a small youthful Agile 3-person team, which is working on a new cloud -based multi-platform (Mobile app and browser access) SaaS application. The project is a computerized maintenance management software (CMMS) specifically designed for elevators, escalators, and other building transportation equipment. The software technology stack consists of MongoDB database, ASP.net API and Angular.js frontend application. Furthermore, the mobile version of the application is built on Cordova and Ionic framework. The developer will be participating in development and maintenance of all layers of the stack in some degree. For backend development, the developer should be comfortable working with ASP.net. In case of full-stack position, the developer feels comfortable working with code written in both C# and JavaScript/Typescript. The developer will be able to use multiple different technologies and will be developing the software using Continuous Integration. A suitable applicant will have majority (if not all :) ) of the following skills: * Able to work in a team * Loves to explore new technologies * Relevant diploma/degree in IT * 1-2 years’ experience of writing C# (Counting also working in open source projects or university courses) * Experience of frontend development with Angular.js ( For full-stack job) * Experience of using C# in ASP.net applications * Knowledge of API programming * Experience of using Unix Shell. * Participated in a project building a web application (either in university courses, open source project or in professional environment) * Familiarity with modern continuous integration tools (e.g. Git, JIRA, Jenkins) * BIG plus for experience of developing hybrid mobile apps with Cordova & Ionic * BIG plus for familiarity with MongoDB (Experience of some SQL based database system will also do)
