We are looking for an Admin & Finance Assistant to join our team! This is a one year contract role with possibility to extend or convert to full time. :)
You will report to the Managing Director and be responsible for the following:
- Accounts Receivable & Payable
- Generate quotations and invoices for sending to clients
- Organise, track and ensure timely processing of payments to vendors
- Track Statement of Accounts and follow up on payments owed to the company
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure billing processes are being followed
- Ensure all receipts, invoices and documentation are uploaded to the accounting system (Xero)
- Processing of payments and staff claims for MD approval
- Liaise with accountant to compile and provide all statements, receipts and other documentation required for filing and submissions
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual P&L report for management
- Ensure detailed and accurate tracking and allocation of project budgets and expenditure
- Assist in Fixed Asset Register and depreciation
- Assist in bank and subsidiary reconciliation
- Assist in quarterly GST filing documentation
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting for cash flow
- Assist with other admin matters, such as
- Office organisation and maintenance, including liaising with building management
- Pantry and office supplies procurement
- Assist with inventory management
- Any other tasks assigned by management
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Certificate, Diploma or higher in Principles of Accounting or related field
- At least one year experience in a similar role
- Experience with the use of XERO Accounting Software or any other similar accounting software
- Experience with online corporate banking platforms
- Must possess knowledge of accounting and finance management
- Understanding of Singapore’s Corporate and Goods and Services Tax
- Organised, with meticulous attention to detail and solid work ethic
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and also together with other members of the team
- Must be willing to learn and keep updated on changes and exceptions on tax, CPF and other relevant knowledge
- Must be willing to understand our business and communicate regularly with internal teams to familiarise with workflows
Optional, but highly valued:
- Familiarity with gaming, marketing or online production environments
- Experience with inventory management or shipping/ fulfillment
- Interest in helping out with events
