なにをやっているのか

■ What we do Our company is a non-governmental company developing a space craft (rocket) in Japan. The space craft is called "spaceplane" and it lands and departs like airplanes, which is different from the conventional rockets. It can also be reused. We are developing "a combustion mode switchable engine" that can switch between jet and rocket engine modes. The type of the engine is pulse detonation engine (PDE). Our engine is the world's first jet-rocket switchable engine.
We use unmanned planes for technology development and testing. The picture shows a few different planes we have used for experiments. The planes are equipped with Autopilot and FPV functions as needed.
A capital tie-up with H.I.S. (travel agency) and ANA (airline) was made to start a commercialization of space transportation including the space travel in October, 2016.
There are more than 100 people in total taking part in our development projects, such as regular employees, volunteer staffs, internship students, companies joining our projects, and cooperative research institutes or companies.

■ Be a wing for Space "I want to fly in the sky!" Didn't you think like that as a child? "I want to see the earth from space!" Don't you still think like that as an adult? ----- It has been more than 60 years since people have started going to space. We are living in a very revolutionary time. Until now, govermental instutitues and big heavy industry companies have been playing the main roll in space development. However, non-governmental, private companies have started developing rockets and their business is rising rapidly. The rocket development is no longer only governmental, and the people who can go to space are no longer limited to astronaut. "I want to see the earth from space!" We want to be a wing to reach space and achieve the world where anyone with this thought can go to space.

■How we do None of our resources is actually "enough" for us - not enough people, not enough facility, or not enough money. However, we have a lot of cooperators, which makes it possible for us to proceed with our projects. We all have a strong mind and passion, believing that we will definitely achieve our goal. ■What we believe in Corporate motto - An indomitable challenge spirit is the start of everything. - Make your way yourself if there is not. - Do not improve, but "innovate". - Behave with understanding that the time and the space is not infinite.

こんなことやります

■What we want you to do We recruit engineers for the spaceplane development. Our final goals are to launch satellites to an orbit and Mach 5 intercontinental flights, but our immediate goal is to reach altitude of 100 km and completly return to land by a sub-orbital spaceplane. We will be developing and operating unmanned spaceplanes first and then apply the obtained technology to develop manned spaceplanes. We need people for the fields listed below to efficiently conduct the spaceplane development. ■Job Types & Fields  A1) Flight dynamics design and analysis  A2) Structure design   (Dynamics design, Analysis and Mechanical design)  A3) Sub-system design  A4) Avionics design and System Integration  A5) Engine / Propulsion design (Thermal, Fluids, Structual Analysis and System design)  A6) Autopilot design : Guidance, Navigation and Control  A7) Software Development / Programming (Embedded)  A8) Materials Engineering  A9) Manufacturing Engineering, Technicains and Quality Assurance  A10) Development Test : Propulsion  A11) Development Test : Flight operation (Including to fly the planes and RC model planes)  A12) Radio and Communication  A13) Support engineering : Reliability, Safety, Maitainability ■Conditions & Qualifications  - Background   Master's or higher degree of the corresponding field   or   At least two years of work experience in the corresponding field  - Language skills   English (ex. TOEIC over 600, TOEFL ibt over 62)   or   Japanese (ex. JLPT N2) ■Skills & Experiences Preferred  - Crafting of electronic devices  - Crafting of composite materials  - Metal machining, welding  - Measurement by using sensors  - Operating of radio control planes (NOT including multicopters)  - Basic knowledge about flight dynamics, structure and system of airplane and/or rocket  - Radio operator license  - 3D CAD modeling  - Knowledge of mechanical 2D drawings  - Knowledge of MBD (Model Based Development)
