The Business Development Manager will be a part of a new business unit, responsible for business development, marketing and sales including performing market research, prospecting, developing relationships with potential customers and meeting sales targets. He/she must have a strong network/warm relationship with end users and clients in the commercial space.
The ideal candidate should have experience working with commercial interior design firms and is familiar with contracts and negotiation. Resourceful and analytical, he/she is required to manage resources and obtain buy-in from internal and external stakeholders. He/She is also expected to make business decisions independently. He/she must have good overall knowledge of the commercial interior design consultancy industry.
Main Responsibilities include:
- Acquiring new clients (B2B), projects and leads
- Identify and develop potential market segments
- Implement marketing/sales plans
- Negotiate contracts, maintain warm relationship with clients
- Develop marketing and business development strategies
Requirements include:
- Experienced in the commercial interior design industry with clients from the commercial sector
- Good knowledge of the overall working mechanics of the commercial interior design setup
- Conversant in crafting business development plans and sales forecasts
- Quick witted, analytical, independent, problem solving skills and a positive thinker
- Pro-active attitude and a team player
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in any field.
- At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
