What we do

We enable clients to understand, engage and converse with young consumers in emerging markets. Happi allows charities, groups, teams and causes to fundraise in a free, easy, and fun way. We're here to create a movement - check out our Ted Talk here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V74AxCqOTvg

Why we do

We want to make people happy by exceeding they have come to expect. We strive to prove the cynics wrong in that a service really can be better, faster and cheaper, while doing good in communities, being generous with all stakeholders, and do it all as a profitable, sustainable private company with no government support, no money from consumers, no corruption, and no charges of any kind to the groups we support.

How we do

At Happi, we develop and operate a micro-survey mobile application platform, which rewards users for responding to surveys with chances to win prizes they select, along with donations to the charity, group or cause they support. We work with market research firms in each country on a revenue share basis, and this strategy will enable us to cover all emerging market countries quickly.

As a new team member

First, a bit about us. We believe there is a fundamentally better way for charities, community groups, teams, leagues and other organizations that create lasting value in their communities and genuinely make people happy to raise money. We started the company for them, and that's why it's called Happi. We believe there is a fundamentally better way for brands to understand, engage, and converse with precisely targeted consumers. And, we believe both of these objectives can be met transparently, ethically, and while giving all stakeholders a better deal. We set out to prove this from Singapore in 2016. We are now active in 12 countries across Asia. Within 2 years, we will bring this idea to all of Asia, Latin America, Eastern Europe and Africa. So, here is the idea: a mobile app that rewards people for responding to 5-question surveys with chances to win prizes they select in lucky draws and Random Acts of Happiness and donations to the charity, group, or cause they support. That's it. We use mobile technology to enable people to give a one-minute act every day to support a cause and get chances to win prizes. We don't advertise. We align ourselves with groups people care about, those groups tell their supporters about Happi, and the supporters use Happi regularly. That's how we break through the noise. We start with what people are already passionate about. This simple idea enables us to deliver research projects in a fraction of the time and cost for brands, while driving significant money to groups that can't raise it easily on their own, while creating affinity for the brands asking the questions with the responders who appreciate the brands for supporting their cause. Simple yet brilliant, right? Well, here's the problem. It is disruptive thinking in very traditional fields. There are long held beliefs and traditions about how market research and fundraising should be done. Happi introduces a new and better, but different way to accomplish age-old objectives....and, for age-old people, that is unsettling. So, we need to evangelize, inspire, and build trust. Every day. Second, a bit about you. You are someone who has been described as positive, energetic, enthusiastic, trustworthy, reliable, evangelical, inspirational, and probably a bit quirky but fun to be around. You can relate to both university student groups and professional, global charities and non-profit organizations. You have been active as a volunteer, team or community group participant or leader, and, ideally, have been active in raising funds for these groups. You love the democratization power of mobile apps, social media, and everything digital....but, you aren't a geek. You love what humans can create with technology more than the technology humans can create. Finally, the job. We have over 100 partners in Singapore. From huge organizations like Community Chest down to very cause-specific groups like BillionBricks, The Breastfeeding Mothers Association, and the Singapore Deaf Sports Association. Your job will be to recruit, support, manage, monitor, and liaise with these groups. Part of your role will be to create processes and systems so that the majority of partners can participate on a self-service model. There will also be 10-20 partners that are so important that you will create and manage annual plans with them, support their events, and publicize both internally and externally all of the good we create together. We need a Partner Manager who will begin with a focus on Singapore. With time, experience, and success, the role could expand to managing our partner managers in all Asian (or global?) countries, but that's not a requirement. If you want to stay focused on Singapore and not take on other countries, that's fine too. We believe we are starting a movement. You want to know how to start a movement?
