Machine Translation can’t account for irony, idioms, tone, culture or context – but humans can. One word or phrase in the same language, but used in different countries or regions, can have different meanings depending on cultural or regional variations in meaning or pronunciation. Consider the word "pants” from both a British and American perspective. While it's one word it represents completely different items of clothing to each national audience. We are a global team, representing 50 different languages and cultures. We deliver global strategic insights that drive business impact and measurable value. Although we are a diverse team located across the world, we are a close team, in constant communication, sharing our drive and passion for our work, developing insights that drive impact, and learning from and inspiring others on our team. Our Mission is to help our clients make better decisions by providing insights that are timely, relevant and actionable. We do this by providing Technology and Services to Agencies and Enterprises in answering complex global business problems. こんなことやります

We are looking for an energetic, motivated experienced Social Insights or Digital Intelligence Manager to take on a leadership role in our Tokyo office, identifying and delivering insights that drive impact, managing clients and teams, as well as pitching in to do the analysis and insights work when needed. You will have the opportunity to interact with a dynamic global team full of insight and character. Fluency in English, as well as experience both in Social Media Analysis, Insights Reporting, Client Management and new Client Development, are essential for you to shine in this role. Agency experience and Digital Insights & Strategy experience are all a plus. We provide ongoing training on new Social Media platforms and channels and Social Analytics techniques. We work to promote our company culture and a team based, learning environment for team members, and provide global learning opportunities with classes, conferences and events We have a multicultural working environment that rewards creativity, passion and drive but your hard work is rewarded not just by your salary, but by becoming a part owner of the company, as we make shares of the company available to our team We work on a project basis, translating business questions into Social Listening queries in Japanese, that is then run through Social Listening Platforms to gather the right data set from online websites, forums and social media (like Syntheseo, Radian6, Crimson Hexagon etc.) You will then read through the conversations, tagging, categorizing and developing insights and recommendations in English in PPT to answer the business questions. You will have the opportunity to work across a diverse range of industries from pharmaceutical to automotive and with colleagues across 50 different languages. Our business has been around for 3 years and is growing rapidly. We'd love for you to join us!
