Position Summary   At Apvera, we’re building threat intelligence security solutions to help every business in the world become more effective in controlling risk within their organizations. We are a freshly minted graduating Singaporean startup aiming to tackle the world with a fully funded war chest with a leadership team to take it to the next level. At the end of the day, we’re a smart, passionate group of people working together to deliver the best product experience, period. Overview:   We are looking for experienced engineers who can provide software engineering/reverse engineering and malware support for specified exploits and operating systems. The purpose of this mission is to provide customer with support to assist them in their goal to establish global network awareness and threat characterization capabilities that will forecast, alert, and attribute malicious cyber activity and enable Computer Network Operations (CNO). Responsibilities: ·         The Network and Threat Support Specialist (NTSS) will have a strong network background analyzing network intrusions in detail. The candidate will have a strong understanding of network protocols and network vulnerabilities. ·         The NTSS will perform host-based intrusions in detail and performs “Malware Triage”. The successful candidate must also understand and be able to identify how the malware is exploited an operating system service and how it communicates over the network. ·         The NTSS will have a software engineering background with experience performing reverse-engineering of operating system components (kernel modules, static and dynamic libraries, and device drivers) with a focus on reverse-engineering malware that has been injected into operating system components. The successful candidate must have a strong understanding of and experience with both network protocols and vulnerabilities and operating system vulnerabilities, and is likely to have performed as an NTMFSS before moving into reverse-engineering of software. ·         The NTSS may have more of a network, host, or software background Qualifications:   - Must have eight (2) years of experience or five (3) years of experience and a technical degree. - Must have experience with the following: o Wireshark/Ethereal, Nessus, Snort, tcpdump, tcp wrapper, IDS (various) Fiddler, Nmap, SSCP, Cisco CCNA ( and other Cisco related network certs), Network +. - Experience with forensics work at host, network, or software levels - Experience penetration testing work - Experience with malware, spyware, botnet work Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with the following: MetaSploit Click "Want To Visit" to apply.
