The Copywriter, Japan role includes various tasks including but not limited to working in partnership with Country Coordinator, Japan; Creative Director; and/or other Koala stakeholders to answer creative briefs and help serve as the "Voice of Koala" in Japan. As a Copywriter, Japan for Koala, you'll need to: -Familiarise yourself with Koala's products and services, target audience and competitors' activities -Write and/or translate clear, persuasive, original copy through the various iterations of the each project/request -Proofread copy to check spelling and grammar -Produce deliverables according to schedule, with on-time delivery -Document and iterate upon brand guidelines and voice guidelines for use throughout the Japan team, including by other copywriters -Liaise with different team members to interpret briefs -Develop creative ideas and concepts, often in partnership with the country coordinator or creative director -Present ideas to the creative director and/or country coordinator for approval and development -Amend, revise or redevelop adverts or campaigns in response to feedback from the creative director, country coordinator or other team members -Work on several campaigns at once, sometimes under pressure and often to tight deadlines -Keep up to date with Japanese pop culture and trends
