Bereev (https://bereev.com) is a legacy planning platform founded in Malaysia. We're similar to TheKnot in the US but instead of helping our users plan for their weddings, we help them plan for the inevitable. Ultimately, Bereev exists to answer a very basic question. Bereev is looking for a Junior Developer/Software Engineer who’s passionate about building great websites and web applications using modern tools and technologies. What will I be doing? - Optimise and maintain the website in collaboration with the product and UX team - Implement website layout/user interface updates using HTML/CSS practices - Support marketing and growth team using standard web technologies What skills do I need? - Proficient in web platform technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) - Experience with source code management systems (Git) - General understanding of PHP, Node.js and MySQL [+] - Experience with CMS (WordPress) [+] - Diploma/degree (or student) in IT/computer science What else do I need? - Able to commit at least 3 months (full-time) - Eager to learn new skills both technical and non-technical - Thrive in a fast-paced startup environment Why should you join? - Hands on experience working on the latest technologies - Opportunity to work closely with the founders and experience what it’s like to help build an early stage startup [+] Not required but a plus
