My role is to facilitate teaching and learning within the art department by organizing classrooms, stockrooms and equipment. I am also responsible for the ICT within the department taking care of laptops, cameras, printers and also making sure ICT is set up for teachers lessons. I am also responsible for the exhibiting of the end of year GCSE show and also the borough show at the end of each academic year.
My job consisted of me working as part of a team to help supply the new food hall at the John Lewis flagship store in london before its grand opening. This job did require discipline as it was a night shift and meant you had to be concentrating at all times during deliveries and to make sure no mistakes were made with the handling of food and health and safety regulations.
I was part of a large team that had to make sure the stockroom ran smoothly meaning taking in deliveries to serving customers this could be exceptionally difficult during busy times of the year. At this time I worked various shifts which meant I would have to swap roles on a daily basis from heavy lifting in the stockroom to making sure to be polite and sociable when serving customers the next moment.
