We are one of the few lucky Singaporean companies to graduate from Y Combinator (S16) and raise venture funding from top Silicon Valley and Singapore investors. Our mission is to help innovative sales and marketing teams become more productive, by automating mundane and repetitive work.

Why we do

We believe in increasing productivity & human happiness, because life is short and we should focus on meaningful work. No sales rep enjoys spending their precious time reaching out to and following up with every single marketing generated lead. Especially when there are thousands of leads, many of which may not be ready to buy.

How we do

We introduce AI sales assistants to sales & marketing teams. The AI contacts every lead, without bias, and has one-to-one email conversations with them. Once a lead expresses interest in buying, the AI will hand the lead over to a human sales rep. Sales can focus on turning leads into customers, while marketing can be sure that all the leads they generate get followed through until they are ready to buy. Now that’s a win-win!

As a new team member

Role: Operation Assistant Role Behind all the automation, you are the human assisting our AI aka our Operator. You will be responsible for categorising email responses which will help the Saleswhale AI decide on the course of action to take and how to respond to these emails. You will also be extracting data from unstructured email content for data collection. Start Date: Immediate About You -You are hungry, smart, persistent and able to operate in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment -Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially over email -Passionate about sales technology and sales processes -Intellectually curious and ambitious - interested especially in Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning -Detail-oriented and possess critical thinking skills -Currently in College / University Have questions about Compensation? Easy. -SGD 10 / per hour -Minimum 40 hours per month -Pick from 10am - 12pm OR 2pm - 4pm slots from Mon to Fri -You will be to working on-site with the rest of the team at our office in Keppel Towers -Ability to commit for at least three months --- What’s it like working at Saleswhale? Our vision is to deploy an AI assistant for every company - to augment humans and abstract away mundane and tedious work. We are one of the few lucky Singaporean companies to have completed the Y Combinator program (S16), and raised US$1.2 million in seed funding from prominent Silicon Valley and Singapore investors to bring this vision to reality. We are a young team (median age is 28 years old) - ambitious, weirdly passionate, and perhaps a little delusional in believing humans should leave highly repetitive and tedious work to computers, so we can focus on creative and meaningful work. At Saleswhale, you will be joining a young, but experienced team that will help you explore a career in the software and tech industry. We have veterans that have worked in companies such as Salesforce, Hubspot, Microstrategy, Viki and Nitrous, and sold millions of dollars in enterprise software. You will get the chance to witness firsthand how a global enterprise software company is built from Singapore, and work cross-functionally with software engineers, sales and marketing, customer success and support functions.
