As a new team member

We are looking for our next Specialist (Safety) to assist in monitoring and reviewing safety matters to ensure safe and secure operations in flight and on the ground in accordance to the Company's Safety Roadmap. Main Responsibilities The key responsibilities of the Safety Specialist are as follows: - To support the organization's Safety Management System (SMS) and regulatory compliance - Manage the daily data collection and analysis of safety reports in the reporting system - AQD and its supporting functions - Provide analysis and advise on safety risks, threats and emerging trends - Carry out incident investigations and provide timely reports - Assist in Hazard Identification and Risk Management (HIRM) to meet company and regulatory requirements. - Analysis of safety data with internal / external stakeholders to manage and mitigate risks - Prepare safety reports for the various audit/safety governance forums - Secretariat duties for the various internal safety committee meetings - Assist in safety communication, circulars and newsletters - Assist in Fatigue Risk Management System (FRMS) functions - Assist in Safety Audits - Assist in Workplace Safety and Health Management, and responsible for Fire Safety and co-ordination for the organization Requirements - At least a Bachelor degree holder from a recognised university Preferably with two (2) years' working experience in the airline/aviation industry (fresh graduate are also encouraged to apply) - Having working knowledge and understanding of Aviation Safety Management Systems will be advantageous - Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills - Strong analytical and project management skills is required
