First Code’s coding and STEM programs are developed by a passionate and top caliber team of engineers and educators, our structured, unique and robust curriculum aims to challenge students to think, act responsibly and be a creative leader in the digital era.

How we do

- Done is Better Than Perfect Creative and with a bias towards action, we embrace ambiguity and are motivated to explore new ways to do things, better. - A Beginner's Mindset All in our team learn to code, and we live and breath the spirit of learning and self improvement. Through our e-book & Kindle program, everyone reads for free, share articles and books frequently on Slack. - Stay Lean, Stay Humble We take "get your hands dirty" seriously. Everyone takes out the trash, fixes broken photo frames and takes turn at the reception. Once, we took turns painting our white board walls as a team ahead of our busy Summer camp season, what a fun workout! We believe that it takes a team to build something big; if you have a love for technology and want to make a meaningful impact in next generation’s education, join us now!

About the Role - You are passionate about delivering amazing customer experience and understand that each interaction with the customer is an opportunity to build a long term relationship. - You celebrate and grasp any opportunity to make a WOW experience to our customers. - You are effective in your communication and are attuned to the customer’s need, both through verbal and nonverbal cues. - You observe details in your environment and delight in finding ways to make things better. Responsibilities - Be the face of First Code at reception and greet students, parents, and guests with a warm and friendly welcome - Show empathy and offer help to parents and students - Answer walk-in, phone call, and email type of customers’ e-nquiries in a professional manner, including understanding our students’ profile, explaining our course offerings, and advising on students’ progression - Be the advocate for students and parents and highlight customers’ feedback in enhancing student’s overall learning experience - Be the voice of First Code’s campus operations by participating in discussions of strategic planning and operational efficiency - Plan and host community events to increase awareness of kid’s coding education and foster an engaging group of passionate technology educators - Work closely with Marketing team to develop the latest offerings and promotional plan Requirements - Minimum 1 years relevant working experience in customer service function, experience in the hospitality industry is an advantage - Cheerful, independent, proactive, meticulous, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced working environment - Exceptional Interpersonal and communication skills - Extremely detail oriented - Excellent at prioritizing and executing quickly on high-priority projects - Excellent command of spoken English and Mandarin - Customer-oriented with pleasant manner and patient for dealing with kids - Have a deep understanding of the First Code community and a passion for the mission of First Code Academy. - Immediate available is highly preferred
