UEX offers health insurance as it should be: 100% personalized coverages subscribed online, easy and paperless for individuals and SMEs. Using a user-friendly UX for the customer to understand the different coverages we enable them to make reasoned decisions. Launched two years ago, the Insurtech startup has grown in both size and reputation amongst the Singaporean insurance market. We have more than 700 customers for which we work everyday to offer the best insurance experience in compliance with their needs.

Why we do

Grégoire Rastoul lived in Singapore during his childhood and went back to Europe for his studies. He worked for 10 years in the insurance industry in France while keeping in mind to come back to Asia. During his experiences, he realized that insurance was getting more and more complicated for the end customer to understand policies and conditions. With the growth of Fintech in financial services in France, he has always been convinced that insurance would be next. If we want to change the way people see insurance, we need to come back to the roots of what it is : care for each other! This is why he decided to create UEX, a human-centric insurance that aims to go back to the basics. He wants to “Talk about health before talking about insurance”. Nowadays, UEX counts 12 full-time employees who are dedicated to making health insurance as easy as possible. The teams are separated into 4 differents parts: Founding team: this team is composed of Grégoire Rastoul and Clément Bouthelier. Grégoire has more than 10 years of experience in insurance. Grégoire is the founder and CEO of UEX. Clément is the COO of UEX. Their competencies are complementary which makes this a great and efficient team. Tech team : this part of our team is taking care of the development of new products as well as maintaining the current application Marketing team : their main goal is to take care of the visibility around the solution and promote the services UEX offers. Their motto is “care is the new growth hacking”. Customer service team : their goal is to follow the customers in their process of subscription, as well as all the customers issues and questions.

How we do

The company is an accomplished challenger in its field by combining its strengths in customer centricity through its technology and its 90/10 policy: 90% online and 10% advisory. The latter is essential for expatriates who have just arrived as it allows them to have a better knowledge of the healthcare system in Singapore. However, UEX wants to flourish by growing into the number one health insurance for expats in the city-state by improving its customer-friendly approach of insurance. After focusing on expats, we have recently launched our SME platform. We firmly believe that our model will enable employers, employees and their families to ease their purchase of health insurances and be appropriately covered with a one stop shopping solution. This is made possible thanks to a simplified onboarding process and a flexible way to personalize each SME’s insurance plan. We want to reconnect the dots between the coverage offered by the employer with a potential insurance top-up by the employees. Furthermore, one of our company’s growth potential is to connect user-friendly interface to its partners. We want to Uberize insurance thanks to an alternative online multichannel model. To create this change, the InsurTech can allow a trusted third party to distribute insurance by connecting to UEX’s public API on any website, blog, Facebook page, etc… Over the last months, UEX is maintaining a solid growth rate while keeping a stable acquisition cost as well as an extremely high conversion rate. About our customer satisfaction, we have a strong organic growth, and a good part of our customers are coming from referral. What we’re looking for? This is a really great opportunity to support a new venture in its development through different missions. In coordination with the dev and sales team, you will manage online marketing campaigns (using Google AdWords, Facebook Ads, Google Analytics, Google Data Studio and more...), SEO, SEM, SEA, support commercial campaigns (referral marketing, incentive and reward programs etc.), handle website optimization, animate social networks (Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube), organize different events with our customers/partners, and more! ● Responsibilities are given from Day 1: you will conduct projects from the beginning to the end - from the development of the strategy to the analysis of the results. ● You will make your mark by contributing to and participating in a variety of marketing projects and campaigns - your creativity is highly welcomed!! ● You will learn a lot about entrepreneurial environment: we truly believe in the fact of trying and adapt quickly according to the results. ● You will be a member of the Insurtech and Fintech community in Singapore, a dynamic environment growing fast. ● You will always be stimulated by something you like to do, and never be bored, because there are many projects to handle.
