Aperza is a start-up focused on manufacturing industry providing online media, marketplace and cloud platform. We help both industrial engineers as a buyer and manufacturers as a seller. Online media and marketplace is for buyers to help them search information, find catalogs and buy products easily and efficiently. Cloud platform is for sellers to support marketing activity and streamline their day-to-day operation.

Our mission is “Redesign Manufacturing Industry” by the power of the Internet. Manufacturing industry is a core industry of Japan, and one of biggest industry in the world. Japanese manufacturing industry has a great technology and industrial products, on the other hand there are many old-fashioned, closed and inefficient ways how people share information, how the transaction is made and how people communicate inside of the industry. We, Aperza, believe that the Internet can make them improved and resolved, and the structure of manufacturing industry becomes more efficient and advanced. In the end, we believe that Aperza can make people all over the world happier by making people in the industry happier by the power of the Internet.

Founders with different backgrounds such as manufacturer, business consulting firm and EC company gathered to make this happen on 2016 July, and other people felt sympathy with Aperza’s vision and mission and joined the company. We are now in a growing phase and expanding the business rapidly. At the same time, we are launching new product to provide better service to our users and clients. We are looking for people who feel sympathy with our mission, interested in our business and want to grow the company and yourself together.

We are multi-national team, not only Japanese but Taiwanese, Singaporean, Indonesian, Philippines, Canadians etc. One of our project is done only in English, so Japanese is not required for your day-to-day development job. Team is small but highly skilled and specialised in each field such as EC, search engine and big-data. We are flexible in trying out new technologies and each of us is responsible for our own choice of technology. We love automation to reduce manual work or repeated job, not only in development process but also company’s routines. We are sure that you can enjoy working here in Aperza’s engineering team. # Role and responsibility You will be in charge of development of global search portal, EC marketplace and/or marketing cloud platform. # Must-have - Be proficient in web technology such as Java with SpringBoot, JavaScript with React.js * Any other language are also in use such as python, ruby, go, etc. (only in back-end) - Be engaged in development project for Internet products, preferably B2B cloud application or search portal - Experience in team development with product manager, UI designer and other engineer - Full time only (no part-time position) # Better-to-have - Global site, understanding multi-language/region/currency/timezone and localisation - Application based on public cloud such as AWS, GCP or Azure (So called "cloud native") - Large-scale DB or NoSQL, ETL or distributed platform # People who we wish to work with - Self-organised, quick-learn, team-oriented - Proactive and love to take technical challenge - Growth-hacker mindset # Way to work in Aperza - Based on mutual trust relationship, we take discretionary labor system for engineers and allow WFH in case you need to take care of your family etc - We love to take risk, challenge and fail - We open up all information regarding company and business result
