The Finance Director is an integral part of the leadership team and will take overall responsibility for the financial and risk management of the company. This critical role will be responsible for building a high performing regional team, based out of Singapore, as well as the broader in-country teams as
the business grows.
You will be developing the financial and operational strategy, improving existing processes, and providing commercial insight to the CEO and investors. In addition, you will be leading the finance team across the region and supporting growth, as well as establishing robust financial processes in new markets.
The role provides a unique opportunity for a candidate with strong entrepreneurial and leadership skills to partner closely with the business and leaves a mark on a very on dynamic geography.
You are tasked to:
• Liaise with business units to provide insights to performance and efficiency to facilitate achievement of the business key performance indicators (KPI).
• To design and establish KPI Frameworks across the Company that shape behaviour aligning to the Company’s objective.
• Formulate market pricing strategies to allow greater balance sheet optimization and management.
• Play a pivotal role in the annual budgeting process
• Drive P&L forecasting and reporting cadence for financial and operational metrics
• Oversee quarter end executive reporting and presentations, including quarterly operations and business reviews
• Develop and present strategic insights about the business; be able to “tell the story” on what’s going on in the business
• Structure deals with various economic, channel and geographic complexities
Must Have:
• Passionate and enjoy being part of a fast-paced startup
• You collect airline miles instead of stamps and has at least 2 miles credit card in your wallet
• Qualified accountant (CA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent), ideally with US GAAP knowledge
• At least 10 years progressive finance experience, including 5+ in leadership roles
• Experienced within Consumer Finance, Retail, F&B or related consumer focused industry
• Knowledge of loyalty rewards recognition and valuation is a plus
• Able to demonstrate strong leadership capabilities
• Superior professional presence and business acumen
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Commercially focused, able to see beyond the numbers and provide business partnering support to the group
