The Site Reliability Engineer is part of the Big Data and Infrastructure team. The Site Reliability Engineer will be responsible for creating, maintaining and supporting ultra-scalable and highly reliable infrastructures.
Operations must be replicable, scalable, and automated, such that they can be applied consistently
Responsibilities
- Beyond the system administration, the SRE should contribute to Dathena's environment to keep it ready to use for coding, testing and, in a more general way, working
- Dathena's infrastructures (on-premises, hybrid, cloud) should be highly available
- Optimise infrastructure cost of operations

- System administration (managing Linux - CentOS, Debian, Ubuntu, …)
- Automation (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, …)
- Network management (IP addresses, routes, …)
- Infrastructure monitoring (Nagios, Icinga, Shinken, NewRelic, …)
- Continuous integration (Azure DevOps, Bamboo, Jenkins, …)
- Containerisation (Docker, Rkt, ...)

Team
- Work closely with people in the infrastructure team (Support Engineers, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineers, Big Data and Infrastructure Manager, ...)

- Advise and guide developers prior to deployments, making sure the deployment direction is sound
The Site Reliability Engineer must fully embrace the team spirit of a young and innovative Start-up. Travel and remote location might be required from time to time. This position is open to interns and graduates.
