What you'll be doing: Working with our team in Tokyo, under the direction of the Design Strategy Director in Japan, to serve the product teams, marketing department and our customers by building the best experience for our range of services. Objectives: — Speaking with customers on location and recording your observations. — Working with our data science team to learn more about user behaviour. — Presenting your learnings to the company so we all understand the problem space. — Designing solutions to these problems, communicated through sketches, wireframes and prototypes. — Devising tests for your ideas to find what is most valuable to our customers. — As part of your work you are expected to keep learning so it won't be uncommon to find you reading, watching YouTube tutorials, participating in the local design/tech community meetups or searching out the right expert on a topic. Not necessary but you may also have: – High quality mockups that use your visual UI design skills — Making your designs come to life with code (HTML/CSS/Javascript) — Assisting the team in other design disciplines (Graphic Design, Illustration, Motion Graphics) — General Writing Skills (Copywriting & Storytelling) As Fusion'z is quickly evolving our products and company, there is a lot of freedom, opportunity and responsibility.
