This is a Staff position that will function as the Management Office for the Japan Procurement team. This person will work closely with the Country Procurement Head and other Procurement colleagues on a number of initiatives and activities which include (but are not limited to) the following: 1) Spend & Contract analytics to support Buyer activities. 2) Work closely with Finance for ad-hoc analyses such as OPEX and cash impact calculations from Procurement activities. 3) Build familiarity with Procurement systems (digital reporting dashboard, savings registration system, contract repository, category management system) and non-Procurement systems such as SAP, etc. 4) Work closely with colleagues in the Global organization on topics such as Procurement Excellence such that Buyers have a clear view of KPI's to be achieved in any given year. 5) Support special activities such as Price Registrations for Direct Materials purchases, preparation for audits and support for events such as Supplier Conferences. 6) Participate in stakeholder meetings and supplier negotiations with Buyers to build knowledge of Procurement activities and the nature of Sanofi's business.
