Unity Technologies provides a growing number of services to our customers as an end-to-end solution for game development and monetization; through the recent acquisition of Applifier, two of our newest offerings are Everyplay, the world’s largest mobile game replay sharing service, and Unity Ads, a 100% games-only video ad network. As a Director of Business Development for the Unity Ads team you’ll be the head of US sales organization, inheriting an established business development team. This team will be responsible for handling all North and South American mobile game/application accounts, building both the demand and supply sides of the Unity Ads network. In this role you will: • Increase penetration of the Unity Ads SDK in the Japanese market; • Build and foster relationships with mobile gaming developers of all kinds; • Ability to think strategically about structuring Unity Ads deals; • Subject matter expert in the mobile ad and mobile gaming space; • History of closing large deals in the mobile gaming/application space; • Work cross-functional with the product, marketing, analytics and Unity engine teams. For optimal success you’ll need the following: • 2-3 years of experience in a business development role required; • 1-2 years mobile experience required, preferably in a services/SDK business; • Great relationships with local game developers; • Knowledge and passion of the mobile gaming/app ecosystem; • Great communication and leadership skills required. This position is located onsite at the Unity offices in Tokyo, Japan; candidates within Japan will be considered.
