Co-Founder and Managing Director at Clarence International School. Growing up in a family of educators, teaching runs strongly in Ayahi's blood. Having read Sociology at Tokyo University and worked for some years in media, she was naturally drawn to set up her first international school. From its small beginnings, the school in Omotesandō proved a great success, attracting 200 students by its fourth year. She handed over ownership of the school when she married over Feifei Hu and moved to the UK, living for seven years in London and Windsor, and completing a Foundation course in Fine Art at the University of Arts London. She also earned a qualification as a Gemmologist at GIA London, and subsequently worked at the auction house Sotheby’s, where she spent her days surrounded by the world’s finest works of art and treasures. She gave birth to a son in London, and decided to found Clarence International School as a way of bringing together her experiences as a mother and educator
