Get to know the Role: - Design, develop and maintain web applications - Coordinate with stakeholders from Product, Design, Finance and other teams to translate business requirements into software designs and implementations - Estimation and timely delivery of software systems - Develop maintainable and reusable systems - Adopt and evolve best engineering practices The day-to-day activities: - Write high quality web applications that delight end users of the product - Design and implement RESTful APIs - Develop dynamic and responsive web interfaces using React framework - Developing reusable web components - Write unit, functional and end-to-end tests - Collaborate closely with User Experience Design, Product, Development, Finance, and Operations teams - Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues The must haves: - A proactive approach in terms of getting things done in a fast-paced environment -Taking ownership and responsibility of components and modules - Being a team player and helping team achieve shared objectives -At least 4 years of professional experience shipping web applications to production -Familiarity with the entire web stack (frontend, backend and database), and web performance optimisation techniques - Experience with Javascript programming language and at least one modern JavaScript UI framework such as React, Ember, Angular, etc. used to develop Single Page Applications - Good understanding of modern web frameworks - Experience designing Rest APIs - Experience with programming languages such as Go, Java or C++ - Experience using Relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.) - Knowledge of web security and performance - Knowledge and experience with Software Design patterns - Knowledge and experience with Application Integration patterns - Knowledge of cloud technologies and experience with developing and deploying services on cloud Eager to show us what you've got?
