We introduce to Japan the high-quality creations of artisan British jewellers. Artisan jewellery reflects the place and time in which it was made and, most important, the craftspeople who created it. Our jewellery selections bring the culture of rural British regions to Japan. We want to not only provide unique, bespoke jewellery but also the story behind it—that of the skilled British artisans and their communities.​ We support small businesses and rural communities, keeping local traditions alive We are also socially responsible. For every item of jewellery purchased, we donate the cost of 10 school lunches to Mary's Meals, a charity that provides school meals to chronically hungry children in Africa, thereby enabling them to receive an education.

We want to create a business that has a social conscience and supports small, rural British jewellery makers.

We are very relaxed and fun in our approach, with flexible working. We believe in a work-life balance and don't expect people to work excessively. We like to think of ourselves as a family.

We need a fun, enthusiastic and outgoing person who would be interested in coming along to jewellery and fashion events. Ideally the person would be a native Japanese speaker who is fluent in English or has strong English skills. We are a new, dynamic business bringing handmade British jewellery to Japan so ideally the person should have an interest in the UK and jewellery/fashion. Above all, though, they should be sociable. In return, we offer an opportunity for the intern to earn a commission from sales of jewellery at events. The intern can also boost their language skills, have real input into decision-making, attend events in Japan, interact with a wide range of people in the UK and Japan, and develop skills in sales and communications. Most of all, the intern will be an important part of our team.
