Job Responsibilities:
- Responding to end-user on support requests
- Contacting end-user to find out the nature of the problem
- Support assistance connecting via a remote link
- Troubleshooting desktop/laptop hardware component and software issues
- Installing and maintaining hardware and computer peripherals, printers and scanners
- Installing and upgrading operating systems and computer software (Windows 10, antivirus and etc.)
- Troubleshooting LAN networking and VPN connection issues
- Advising on software or hardware upgrades, and windows security patching
- Providing basic knowledge guide in computer operation and management
- Completing job status reports and ordering supplies.
Job Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Desktop Support Engineer or Support Technician
- Advanced knowledge of computer hardware systems, chipsets, memory modules, and peripherals
- Knowledge of popular operating systems, software applications, and remote connection systems
- Ability to solve complex hardware and software issues
- Ability to work after hours when necessary
- Physically fit as moving of equipment is expected
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
