Background: • We are looking for a graduate project engineer to work on sustainable building projects. Requirements: • Understanding green and healthy building design, construction, and operation • Familiarity with HVAC systems, energy-saving measures, and ASHRAE 90.1 and 62.1 Standards is a plus • Capable of finding energy-saving and/or wellness strategies and solutions to guide and create a high efficiency green and healthy building • Other skills: strong written and spoken English and good at coordination work with the whole team • Handle project proposals, coordination, documentation and submission of assigned projects • Main point of contact for clients and consultants • Conduct project kick off’s and attend project meetings • Monitor project deliverables and timeline • Update relevant stakeholders or team members on the project progress • Coordinate external project management and client teams to achieve the level of performance • Conduct training of client teams Preferred characteristics: • Smart • Can think of innovative, “out-of-the-box” ideas • Willing to learn • Can work well under pressure • Can work well in team environments Qualifications • Fluent in Japanese and English • Engineering degree in sustainable construction, or related fields • Experience or strong interest in green building projects • General understanding of green building rating systems such as LEED/WELL/BEAM (Accreditation in any of these systems is a plus)
