# How to develop · In addition to our customers, we use Backlog internally for project management. Based on the input of users and employees who also use it daily, we design and implement new features and solve issues. ・Your primary focus will be developed of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. · Team leaders are located in Tokyo and Fukuoka (head office), but team members are scattered across other offices as well. You’ll need to work effectively with team members regardless of their location. #The Backlog Development Team (about 20 people) · Teams are divided into core function development / UX / infrastruction / support. · There are no restrictions on team members. People assist in all aspects regardless of main role or current working location. We use hangouts and Typetalk to communicate and collaborate with all team members daily. · The team leaders (Product Owner and the Scrum Master) are both of them are from an engineering background and are still participating in development as necessary. # Responsibilities ・Integration of user-facing elements developed by a front-end developers with server side logic ・Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability ・Design and Implementation of security and data protection ・Design and implementation of data storage solutions and multithreaded Web Application (Java) utilizing web application frameworks ・Develops applications using dependency injection and configuration driven behaviors ・Conduct Unit tests, code review, refactoring current source code, assessment and improvement of performance. ・Settings and improvement on CI (ex.Jenkins)
