The Job You will be creating from scratch the top web & mobile platform for pets' owners in Asia, together with co-founders and early team members in the heart of Singapore. We are going to create Singapore's top peer-to-peer service marketplace and ecommerce for the pets industry. We are looking for our Technical Lead to spearhead the development of both the web application and mobile application for a service marketplace and e-commerce. We need a person who, as part of a team, can create highly scalable web apps that thousands of users interact with daily. The ideal candidate has experience building real products for the web and should be able to present examples of their work. - Develop and maintain a responsive web application with service marketplace & e-commerce and online community functions using Node JS, AngularJS or ReactJS - Spearhead the technical designs, discussions, system architecture and implementation - Write clean, modular, robust code to implement the desired requirements with little or no supervision - Work with the a junior web developer to triage and fix bugs with rapid turnaround - Contribute ideas for making the website better and easier to use - Ensure on time, on budget, and the quality of the product Your Skills and Experience - At least 2, 3+ years of software development or related (Experience in building service marketplace, or ecommerce from scratch is a huge plus) - Able to lead a team of junior developers - Experience in the whole life cycle of product and application development - Good knowledge in frontend web development (HTML, CSS, Javascript), translating UI/UX designs into live - Backend development in NodeJS - Strong knowledge of Javascript, Angular JS, Node JS - Fast, swift and clean development - Able to work under pressure and under tight timeline, with little supervision - Appreciation of and ability to write clean code - Good knowledge about Web Development concepts - Good at planning skill - Strong experience in HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, Responsive design - Experience with UI design is a plus - Experience with AWS - Experience with Test Driven Development and/or Automated -User Acceptance Testing is a plus. - Experience with mobile application development (for example, native Android - Java, native iOS - ObjectiveC/Swift, React Native or Xamarin) will be a big plus - Be creative and experience at user experiences - Excellent communication skills - A commitment to quality and a thorough approach to work - Good teamwork and reliability Why You'll Love Working Here Opportunity to travel and work in SINGAPORE!
