What we do

SGAG turns 7 years old this year! We are a crazy bunch of people that seeks to connect with Singaporeans daily through localised humour with our iconic memes and videos.

Why we do

We know how tough it is being a Singaporean and like what we always tell people, we can't solve these problems you're going through, but hopefully we can put a smile on your face at the end of a long hard day with some of our jokes.

How we do

At SGAG, we're a highly innovative and iterative team that enjoys coming up with new ways to tell stories to our audience. We largely make use of current affairs or trending events to tell better stories (grins). + 20 month bonus + 3 hours lunch break + 30 days of annual leave + free gym membership + quarterly overseas retreat ... you'll be glad to know that we have NONE of these benefits at SGAG. You'll get to see Xiao Ming every day, that's the only benefit you need!

As a new team member

SGAG is looking for a skilled video editor who has what it takes to be a part of the team that has been responsible for some of the most popular digital content in Singapore. The candidate must love telling engaging stories and is great collaborator who can communicate with a team to set goals, exchange feedback, and execute on set at the highest level. Scope: Produce online videos across multiple platforms from short form, daily content for social media to long form series. Devise creative treatments and executions and see them through from planning to delivery. This includes working with directors and scriptwriteres on concepts, planning shoots (in studio and on location), editing in FinalCut Pro and/or AfterEffects, and posting video content online. Create engaging videos that meet individual and team goals (e.g., engagement, traffic, conversion, etc.). Track video analytics and draft regular reports on performance statistics. Key Requirements: 2+ years of professional experience editing A demonstrable passion for and excellent knowledge of video—both technical and storytelling aspects. Highest standard of accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise accordingly. The ability to work quickly to tight deadlines under pressure. Flexibility and a professional approach at all times. The ability to self-supervise in order to meet deadlines. Ability to work in and contribute to a fun and dynamic team-based environment. Comprehensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
