Theatre director, Acting coach, Founder, and Playwright, Seri Kurosawa heads the Jikando theatre company. Seri is the recipient of a Sato Sakichi Award for Director 2006 and a Sato Sakichi Award for Play 2007. He lives in Tokyo, where the majority of his work is based. He has directed nearly 50 productions including work by Chekov, Pinter, Agota Kristof, Kunio Kishida and David Auburn at The Koenji Theatre, and many of Tokyo's other most prestigious venues. Seri has also worked at many of Japan's leading drama schools including New National Theatre Drama Studio and En Drama Laboratory. He has worked with Hoyu theatre company and a lot of other productions. Seri always focuses on the actors when he builds a dramatic play. He is good for outstanding simple acting and vivid relations.
