ローカルタイ料理/ Local Thai food
桜の季節も終わって暖かくなってきましたが、いかがお過ごしでしょうか。
先日、ビジネストリップでタイのバンコクを訪れました。タイは初めてでしたので仕事とはいえ楽しみにしていたのですが、期待通りのすばらしさでした。
日本で食べられるタイ料理はもちろんおいしいのですが、現地の蒸し暑い気候（37℃くらい）のなかで食べるタイ料理はよりおいしく感じました。
観光する時間はなかったのですが、当社オフィス近くにある高層ビルの上階から見るバンコクの風景、高架を走る電車、巨大ショッピングモールのなかのフードコートやスーパーなどを楽しむことができました。
異国文化を体験できる旅はやはりいいものですね！
The cherry blossom season has passed, and it’s getting warmer here in Tokyo!
I recently went on a business trip to Bangkok, Thailand. Since it was my first time visiting, I was really looking forward to it, and it was just as wonderful as I expected.
Thai food in Japan is great, but eating it in the local humid weather—around 37°C—made it taste even better.
Although I didn’t have much time for sightseeing, I enjoyed the view of the city from the top of a high-rise building near our office, riding the elevated trains, and exploring the food courts and supermarkets in the giant shopping malls.
It reminded me how great it is to travel and experience different cultures!
