私の物語 – How Japan shaped my path
Since my first visit to Kyoto in 2013, I’ve been deeply moved by the city’s cultural richness and its quiet, refined beauty.
I lived there for over three years between 2013 and 2016, and I still return regularly for several months each year.
Through the years I’ve spent in Japan, I’ve learned so much — from people, from places, and even from silence.
Practicing Aikido, which I began in Paris and then continued in Kyoto, the Kansai area, and on Shikoku, taught me in a very physical way what it means to unite precision and softness, form and heart.
It has become an inner foundation for how I work, live, and sense others — how I perceive a part of their inner world.
The Japanese people have given me so much during my first years in Kyoto and ever since that, I still feel a strong need to give something back, in my own way.
Through culture, travel, writing, and visual storytelling, I aim to reveal the beauty and vitality that exist within people and places, especially where it is not always easy to put oneself forward.
That desire quietly guides all of my projects.
