A belated National Day pride post - Singaporeans doing good in unconventional ways

Not exactly a National Day (Singapore's birthday is 9th August) event and post but very aptly so this Our Better World's Community Event about Singaporeans doing good lah taking place in our country's birthday month is extra cause for celebration!

Joined the Our Better World’s Community Event at Temasek Shophouse to meet some Singaporeans who make the world better through ways that are out of the ordinary.

The event was good vibes through and through - from the venue Temasek Shophouse, home to Temasek's philanthropic arm, to caterer Tribe, a social enterprise restaurant, to organiser Our Better World, a digital story telling initiative of Singapore International Foundation, and of course the main agenda and program content i.e. the featured changemakers, Soundball, Geylang Adventures' Backalley Barbers, and Angel Hearts and the What, How and Why they do.

It was sombering and moving to learn about their Wantedly Way i.e. the What they do, How they do and Why they do...and absolutely inspiring to see the impact of Soundball, Backalley Barbers and Angel Hearts, on visually impaired sportsmen and women to migrant workers to grieving parents.
