Future Forward with The Codette Project

The Codette Project aims to have a sustainable economic impact through providing minority women with awareness and access to the tech industry.

On 28 September 2019, The Codette Project organised Future Forward Career Critique Convention to benefit minorities seeking opportunities in Technology. There was also a showcase of the truly outstanding #successlookslikethis Photo Campaign:

Wantedly's CEO and Founder, Akiko Naka, was recently by Forbes as 1 of 25 Outstanding Outstanding Power Businesswomen on the Rise in Asia (and the only one from Japan), and in her interview the topic of gender is touched upon - Naka’s can-do attitude shapes her views on women in the workplace. “I usually decline interviews that are focused on a woman’s perspective,” Naka says. “I don’t really think about being a woman, and that hasn’t been an issue in my career.”

Inspired by our Founder, Wantedly Singapore is proud to be a champion of gender equality offering opportunities for women to work in tech, and support The Codette Project's cause.
