The goal of this research is to develop a model that characterizes changes in information, introduce a metric that estimates the uncertainty from the perspective of the interactive observer, and develop an algorithm to help guide decision-making under situations of large losses in plant condition information.
Used high speed digital video to analyze bubbling dynamics inherit in the Seattle-PAP respiratory support device. Fabricated, using machine tools and 3D printing, approximately 30 different designs of the Seattle-PAP expiratory tube in order to determine the optimal design for generating the pressure waveform with the highest average amplitude.
