After doing a handover/transition for my startup to a large corporate in the US, I decided to spend a few months in Europe to "find myself and chill out" and do some freelance app development. Back in 2010, there was a bubble in app development work so was a good time to capitalize on that and make some money. I've been building iOS mobile applications for myself and other people for 5 years working with companies such as ING Direct or Saatchi and Saatchi, and smally companies you've probably never heard of (or most likely are no longer around).
My travels took me through Europe, Asia, Australia, and then back again to Asia, specifically Hong Kong (the fun place to be for expats!). I set up shop in Hong Kong for 3 years before deciding to try different cities - Taipei, Seoul, Cebu, and finally discovering a cool place called Chiang Mai which has almost as much amenities as Hong Kong but 1/10th of the price. Different vibe but same same. But lately I've been drawn back to Europe again because of the chilled vibe, cleaner air, and blockchain technology seems all the rage (I like blockchain tech, it seems great for transferring value for cheaper prices)
Fast forward to today, I'm doing React.JS / Node.js development and also looking for opportunities for React Native.
I've also got an interest in Blockchain technology, and also love AR/VR/AI as I think its the new "app bubble".
