About me.

I'm from Switzerland.

Why am I in Japan, you ask? Simple: I love cultures. Okay, maybe it's not very simple. Let me explain.

I'm a Lebanese, Swiss, Italian mix and have always travelled all over thanks to my mother, who loves travel and finding cool people all over the world. This meant that I had to navigate all sorts of different cultures, countries, beliefs and more. This has been the source of much of my fascination, frustration and love for various countries.

I had decided to go to the University of Zurich in 2010 and just needed to figure out what to study. I went to the information session before I graduated and found "Japanese studies". Wanting to do something with cultures and people and countries and all that, I started Japanese studies and never looked back.

That's why I'm here. Now doing my MA, after finishing my BA at the University of Zurich in 2015.

I miss Switzerland. For so many reasons, but I would also miss Japan if I left, probably for just as many.

For now, I'm staying here and working. We'll see where it goes.
