Our team at Million Steps is eager to solve tough problems with cutting edge technology, and bridge between two very different cultures to create new value.
You will work closely with clients and counterparts from Japan and Israel and helping them identify opportunities and implement projects. The work will be versatile, but projects will usually involve gathering and analyzing information (both independently and in collaboration with industry specialists), formulating, testing and communicating ideas for new partnerships and business models, and working with clients’ teams on project implementation. You will also need to travel to Israel with clients' teams and lead their journey and conversations with Israeli partners. In executing projects, you will work with many different people and organizations, including our network of shareholders in Israel, well-known Israeli VCs, startup management and business development teams, multinational companies’ R&D centers, universities and research institutes, and more. Your role will also include involvement in our sales efforts and building lasting relationships with both new and existing clients.

What we look for
● An excellent track record in consulting or business development in fast-paced environments that require complex problem-solving
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills; we look for someone who reads the situation, understands the core interests of the parties involved, and creates a path to success through effective communication
● Team player and independent thinker - you know how to bring your own ideas to the table and also work together with the team
● Detail-oriented and skillful navigator - able to handle multiple projects at once, prioritize your own tasks and work effectively in a dynamic and fluid environment
● Native Japanese and near-native English
● Willing to travel to Israel with clients and lead their journey and discussions with Israeli partners
● Bachelor's degree from a top-tier institution; advanced degree a plus
● Experience at a startup and/or with data-driven technology products is a plus The application is for a full-time position and the location is at our Tokyo office
