なぜやるのか
A piece of Japan goes home with every heart.
Japan's treasure is largely unrecognized by Japanese people-- an experience of great value to the people of the world.
Our mission is to connect the world to Japan. epiphany inc. is run on the concept of connective transformation to free ourselves from limitations. Through travel and new experiences people are often said to achieve this. Applied on a large scale, our mission could create a better global future.
As lovers of Japan, either natives or long-term residents, we believe that the country and its culture have a lot to teach the world. We would all live in a better place if travelers could take a bit of the culture here back home with them. To accomplish this goal, we at epiphany inc. have chosen the path of tourism and culture exploration. We believe that small changes go a long way and that some of the habits that make Japan a great place to live could be imparted into each visitor, with the hope that each and every individual helps to spread humility, grace and harmony, the core pillars of Japanese society, around the world and in turn, create a better global future.
どうやっているのか
A meritocracy based workplace free of stereotypes and glass ceilings.
And the best part of the job- fun adventures!
Our rules as an organization are designed to prevent the kind of group think that destroys and stagnates giant organizations in Japan. Our rules are simple, and are for the common good.
Rule 1: If you feel passionately about an issue at work you are required to speak up about it. You can speak to anybody at any level in the organization that you feel like you must.
Rule 2: New rules must be organized as a descriptive not as an arbitrary: ex. don't cheat vs. don't be a cheater.
Rule 3: We must have the courage to speak out, but also the courage to change our own mind if we are wrong.
Rule 4: If you are not an expert in the field that you have a concern about, Rule 1 doesn't apply to you. Study first and become an expert in your field before you bring up your case.
We believe that organizing ourselves in this way will prevent groupthink and create a strong tendency to constantly adapt to changing environments, allowing us to thrive in any economic condition.
