Launched in 2006, the company’s core property, Wikia.com, currently boasts 325,000 fan communities and a global audience of over 185 million monthly unique users and growing, making it the largest entertainment fan site in the world.

This will be a groundbreaking year for us as we extend our massive, fast-moving, globally-distributed platform in exciting new ways. Focused on full-stack development, you will create functional and beautiful interfaces to focus Wikia's global product on the Japanese market . Product and design stakeholders will look to you to provide technical guidance on upcoming features. We’re not looking for a designer who can code but rather a hardcore programmer who can bring ideas to life through application frameworks (we use Ember.js), geek out about JavaScript engines, DOM, and wrangle styles with tools like SASS .
