What is an Indonesia Health Alert Card?
Indonesia has one of the best healthcare facilities in Asia and the healthcare system is well equipped with modern infrastructure. However, it is still necessary for foreign nationals to carry out their own verification of hygiene and immunizations before entering the country. Foreigners traveling to Indonesia should carry an Indonesia Health Alert Card and proof of insurance. Foreigners who are below 18 years of age, foreigners working or studying in Indonesia, or any other foreigner not having permanent resident status in the country need to have an Indonesian Health Alert Card. Foreigners who are above the age limit but lacking a card still need to have one.
