We're looking for a full-time front-end engineer to join our Tokyo office, preferably with an interest in language-learning. Japanese language experience is not required but welcome. Our hiring process: * A quick call with two members of our team We'll ask a little about your past experience and current situation, let you know what it's like to work at iKnow!, and answer any questions you may have. If you're in Tokyo, you're welcome to come to the office and do this in person. * Technical challenges interview We want you to see how you work your way through a problem iteratively and hear you discuss your approach. We use a collaborative programming web service and you'll be able to use the internet, so you don't need to memorize libraries or method names. You'll be able to run your code as often as you like to debug and refine it. * Architectural challenge We'll ask you to complete a small-scale architecture challenge. This will be an offline task that can be completed in a few hours. If all goes well, we'll reach out to you quickly and make an offer.
