今日は節分ですね。
SHAHANIでは日本の伝統行事も積極的に楽しみます！

節分と言えば豆まきと恵方巻。
社員一同で美味しく恵方巻を食べました！

■恵方巻きとは？
節分にその年の良い方角とされる恵方を向いて食べる巻き寿司のこと。
巻き寿司を鬼の金棒に見立て、それを退治する意味もあるとか。

■恵方巻きの食べ方
①太巻きをひとりにつき1本準備する

• 福を巻き込む巻き寿司なので、縁が切れたり、福が途切れたりしないよう、包丁で切ってはいけません

②恵方を向く

• その年の歳徳神がいる方角で、何事も吉とされている恵方を向いて食べます

③願いごとをしながら、黙々と最後まで食べる

• しゃべると運が逃げてしまうため、食べ終わるまで口をきいてはいけません

ということで、社員一同、今年の恵方の南南東を向きながら黙々と食べました！
途中で「すごく仲がいい会社ですね～！」と同フロアの方に仰っていただきましたが黙食ルールをフォローしていたので何もお答えできずごめんなさい。笑

It's Setsubun today and we SHAHANI enjoyed Emomaki together!

■What are Ehomaki?

• Tradition on the "Setsubun" day is eating Ehomaki for good luck, which has recently been popular in Japan.
• You eat a thick, rolled sushi called Ehomaki, while facing the direction that is said to be lucky for the year.

■How to eat Ehomaki

1. Never cut off the edges of ehomaki, or you may cut off your fortune! It is customary to eat it whole.
2. When eating your ehomaki, face in the direction of the deity Toshitokujin, and don't look away!
3. Eat in silence! It is believed that speaking while eating could let your luck escape. For the best luck, eat in complete silence until you are done.

We followed the three guidelines and it was so much fun!
