My name is Nicholas Raffone, a second-year undergraduate computer science student at NYU Abu Dhabi. I was born in Japan but raised in Europe, and am currently based in Abu Dhabi. I have a wide array of skills in Python, ReactJS, Django REST, and AWS SAM. Currently dipping my feet in GraphQL. I am incredibly excited to delve into the professional sphere of tech and hope to explore and learn in a new environment.
I want to be able to use my abilities in computing for the common good, whether it be aiding those in poverty through developing a food bank network or making predictive neural networks for student support.
I'm currently working towards my Bachelor's at New York University Abu Dhabi majoring in Computer Science and double minoring in Economics and Interactive Media.
Taught myself JavaScript, HTML, and CSS as well as the React Framework to create a portfolio of my achievements and interests.
Using an experimental methodology, I tested various methods of improving neural network efficiency to predict students' performance with the hope that these students can get additional support.
