If you are planning a vacation to another country, the last thing that you want to worry is about getting an incompatible photograph. Passport and visa photos must be compatible. Many passport agencies won't mail or print standard passport photos or out-of-country visa photos to customers who request them. While standard passport photos and biometric passport photos are often simple digital photos, many people get them professionally because they must meet the country-specific rules of their destination. If they cannot travel with a valid passport, they may still be allowed to use this photo to prove their identity.
