Takchun Group Launches Macau VIP Operations at Studio City Casino
Tak Chun Group, a Macau VIP junket company, officially launched a sales within Studio City Casino Macau featuring nine game tables spanning four rooms containing 10,760 square feet of space. According to a report by Asia Gaming Brief, Takcheon Group became the first junket operator to launch VIP services within a $2 billion development owned by Hong Kong-listed Melco International Development Limited through a joint venture with the Australian company Crown Resorts Limited. Takchun Group has reportedly named its new operations Studio City Takchun VIP Club and plans to continue focusing on establishing similar ventures at five-star hotels and resorts across Taipa and Kotai Streep "to actively renew the group's visibility, market position and premium services." Levo Chan, CEO of Tak Chun Group, said, "With this new VIP operation, the group currently operates 15 VIP clubs, including 13 in Macau and two overseas, and has more than 200 game tables." Melco Crown Entertainment Limited announced three weeks ago that it would allocate two-thirds of the 33 VIP tables installed at Studio City Casino Macao properties to junket operators Tak Chun Group and Suncity Group. Meanwhile, Melco Crown Entertainment Limited recently debuted 15 tables at Winn Palace Cotai, which was launched in August, and nine high-roller tables at the newer Parisian Macao.
